TheRealSkitso was born and raised on the Eastside of Buffalo, NY. Some of the greatest entertainers were natives to Buffalo, such as; Rick James, Brian McKnight, Grover Washington, Jr., to name a few. Even though Skitso grew up in some of the harshest places in Buffalo, he ironically found his passion for hip-hop and producing at a young age. Being the son of a musician, Skitso was born with an ear for music; with his first beat machine being a Korg ESX-1.

Some of his musical influences are Dj Premier, Dr. Dre, Havoc, Alchemist, Pete Rock, Battlecat, M.O.P, 50Cent, Kool G Rap, Big Pun, and Tupac. Half-Owner of Illustrious Music/Illustrious Garments, Skitso is a versatile producer, writer, hip-hop artist, etc.

TheRealSkitso and his partner Joe from Illustrious Music, recently joined forces with Westcoast pioneer The Legendary Kokane’s, “Bud E Boy Entertainment.” TheRealSkitso is gearing up to release his full compilation album, entitled; “The Asylum Vol. 1”, which is scheduled to drop in 2025. “The Asylum Vol. 1” features an ALL-STAR cast: featuring Kokane, Berner, Westsidegunn, Devin the Dude, Project Pat, Styles P., Cormega, Tha Eastsidaz, Rockness Monsta, 38Spesh, Royal Flush, Elcamino, Christopher Williams and more.
