Born and raised on Buffalo’s East Side, Producer/Songwriter TheRealSkitso hails from a city that produced legends like Rick James and Grover Washington Jr. Despite growing up in challenging circumstances, Skitso discovered his passion for music early. Influenced by the likes of DJ Premier, Dr. Dre, and Alchemist, he honed his craft as a producer and lyricist, starting with a Korg ESX-1 beat machine.

His current single, “Well Connected,” is an East/West collaboration that turned the industry on its collective ear by catching a major nod from BET Jams with a triple-play television world debut from their Mixtape Playlist program.

Skitso marked a significant milestone recently with the successful television world premiere of his music video for "Well Connected" on BET Jams Mixtape Playlist. The video, filmed by @directed_by_smitty and featuring West Coast legends Kokane and Tha Eastsidaz, underscores Skitso’s blend of streetwise storytelling and a passion for creating connections through music. 

The debut event also took hold on social media and was marked and chronicled by the most prolific BET Jams content curator on Instagram, @j2v89 and caught a blessing from the Dogg Father himself.
